Start with what the price covers
A website quote can cover very different work. A few pages using existing content is a different project from a site that needs new writing, photography, online payments or connections to other software. Compare scope alongside price.
Compare the website options
Website Only costs $1,935 for up to five custom-designed static pages, with fixed scope and defined revisions. Two payments of $967.50 are available. No monthly WCA management is required; hosting and domain are arranged separately or through optional annual services. Future changes are separately commissioned, and Smart Website Workers are not included.
A new Smart Website costs $995 one-time setup plus $299/month with a 12-month initial agreement: $4,583 for the first 12 billed months. Early release costs $940 multiplied by the months remaining in the initial term, divided by 12, rather than all remaining subscription payments. It includes a managed static website, hosting and ongoing website-related changes and improvements. There is no arbitrary quota of small text edits; work is scheduled by complexity and production capacity. Additional website automation is in development and will be included for eligible subscribers as released.
Existing Website Only customers can add Smart Website management for $299/month with no second setup fee, month-to-month with 30 days' notice to cancel. Their site is already paid for, so no website-release amount applies. Substantial rebuilds are separately quoted.
Custom Website starts at $4,500 for WordPress requests or unusually complex website work. Hosting, licensing, maintenance and third-party costs are scoped separately.
Fractional Marketing is a separate custom monthly retainer for strategy, creative production, campaigns and related work, unless explicitly included by contract.
Ask about additional costs
- Copywriting, photography and other content production
- Paid software, advertising and third-party subscriptions
- Customer-system integrations and advanced follow-up
- Bespoke development outside the website service scope
Compare the responsibility, too
Ask who handles updates after launch, what happens if something needs attention, and what you receive if the relationship ends. The right choice depends on how much website work you want to manage yourself.
