About / An independent Southwest Florida studio
A designer first.
A business partner
by experience.
I’m Tyler Small, founder of Wayne Creative Agency. I bring design, development and marketing together so business owners don’t have to make all the pieces work on their own.
Growing up in Fort Myers
An art education.
Business experience.
I grew up in the Fort Myers area and studied art at the University of Central Florida. Graduating into the aftermath of the 2008 recession meant my path didn’t look like a straight line from design school to an agency job.
I taught myself the disciplines that kept showing up around design: web development, coding, SEO, copywriting, advertising and technology. A business problem rarely stays neatly inside one specialty, so I learned to work across them.
Roughly nine years at Allstate gave me a close view of sales, customer service, lead generation, follow-up and the daily pressures of operating a business. WCA developed alongside that career. In March 2025, I left Allstate to run Wayne Creative Agency full time.
How Wayne evolved
How my approach
to websites changed.
Wayne started with the creative work small businesses need: logos, websites, graphic design, print and advertising. For years, websites meant WordPress, Elementor and the familiar collection of hosting, themes and plugins.
Modern development tools made more purpose-built work practical for a small studio. Instead of shaping a business around a plugin, I could build around the business itself.
I started paying closer attention to what happens after someone visits a website: where inquiries go, who responds and what information the business needs. That thinking informs the website work and the automation services WCA is developing.
“What should happen from the moment somebody discovers this business until that person becomes a customer?”The question behind the work

You work with
the person doing it.
I’m intentionally building a small studio. You get direct access to the person thinking through the project and making the work.
Technology supports the design and business thinking. Clients don’t need a technology lecture; they need a good website, practical marketing and systems they can rely on.
WCA is based in North Fort Myers and serves Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Bonita Springs, Estero, Naples and businesses across Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties. I can work with businesses elsewhere, too.
